A lawsuit was filed Thursday in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas on behalf of a 7-year-old girl who allegedly contracted E. coli at a Pizza Ranch restaurant in Emporia.
The plaintiff contends that the girl, referred to as S.S. in the suit, and her family ate at Pizza Ranch, 3000 W. 18th, on Jan. 31. A few days later, she began to feel ill.
