Members of the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee sounded an alarm Thursday on behalf of Kansans frustrated with the tradition of moving on and off daylight saving time.
The bill introduced by Sen. Ty Masterson, R-Andover, would cease recognition of daylight saving time in Kansas. More than a dozen other states are exploring legislation that would permanently end daylight saving time.
“I’m ready for my clock to stop changing,” the senator told the committee. “It really messes with peoples’ sleep.”
