A lawn care company in Topeka has been ordered to pay refunds to its elderly consumers for “deceptive and unconscionable practices,” the Kansas attorney general said Thursday.
Travis D. Kaiser, who did business as T’s Lawn Service, must pay $78,000 as part of a consent judgment approved this week in Shawnee County District Court.
He also has been ordered to pay a penalty to the attorney general’s office and pay costs investigators accrued while investigating his business practices.
